Raquel was born and raised in West Haven, Connecticut. After leaving her hometown she attended college at Adelphi University where she recieved her BFA in Performing Arts; Acting.


After graduating she dove right into the New York City comedy scene. Taking improv classes at The People's Improv Theatre (The PIT), The Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), and The Magnet. She is a part of three independent improv teams that perform frequently around the city. Agent Cooper, #HighClassHookers, and The Pin Up Squirrels.


February 2014 NYC was introduced to the new play Hair of the Dog, which was written by and starred Raquel, and two of her college collegues, when it premiered in the Strawberry One Act Festival. Currently the three are working to put the piece back on it's feet this fall!


She is a company member at The People's Improv Theatre, performing every Wednesday night on the mainstage at 9pm, with improv team HERO COMPLEX.

She also co-hosts the comedy web series NYCReviewed, proving in fact that everyone DOES love a critic!
